Three Things to Know for Tuesday, May 10, 2016:

1. Vote! The Special Election for State Senate is today: Democrat Joe Boncore will be on the ballot for the First Suffolk & Middlesex District to fill the seat vacated by Anthony Petruccelli. No other party has put forth a candidate on the ballot (write-ins allowed).

2. In the news:  These are the most popular Italian restaurants in Boston, according to check-in dataCould it be true? The North End did not post the top Italian restaurant in Boston, the South End restaurant, Cinquecento Roman Trattoria officially took the top spot.
