The ABCD North End/West End Neighborhood Service Center (NE/WE NSC) recently held its spring luncheon at 1 Michelangelo Street in the North End. Nearly five dozen seniors gathered to enjoy a festive, although slightly chilly, April day.
The NE/WE NSC’s cook and volunteer assistants prepared a feast of ham, rice, potatoes, vegetables, bread, raviolis, with cookies and coffee for dessert.
Special guests included Tiffany Favers, Area Agency on Aging (AAA) Director and Amy O’Dea, Friendly Visiting Coordinator from Friendship Works, who spoke about the programs that her agency offers to seniors.
