Good Neighbor Recognition Awarded to Battery Wharf Hotel

The Good Neighbor Recognition Award was recently presented to Battery Wharf Hotel on the North End waterfront. The award was presented to Trish Berry, Manager, Jackson Keohane, Assistant Manager and their staff / governance by NEWRA President Ford Cavallari and Recognition Committee Chair Janet Gilardi on behalf of the North End / Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA). The recipients shared the following reaction to the award.

There was great effort put into designing an appealing landscape by the developer to create a space that would complement the buildings, Boston Harbor, and the North End. Since then the property has had the benefit of working with a wonderful in house maintenance staff, tremendous maids cleaning and Schumacher landscaping company that take great pride in preserving this design.

Everyone involved plays a role and takes time to ensure things are “just so” for the public to enjoy. Battery Wharf was extremely surprised and honored to have been recipient of the Good Neighbor Award and hope to continue to maintain a place worthy of the award for decades to come.

The monthly award is voted by NEWRA’s Executive Committee and given to local businesses, organizations and property owners that contribute to making our neighborhood beautiful and consistently keep the areas around their property clean of trash.
