The NEWRA Clean Streets Committee awarded its August 2010 Good Neighbor Recognition Award to the North Bennet Street School. The monthly award is researched and voted on by committee members and awarded to local businesses and property owners that consistently keep their sidewalks and gutters clean of trash and debris.
Accepting the award for the North Bennet Street School were Miguel Gomez-Ibanez, NBSS President (center), Claire Fruitman, NBSS Associate Director (2nd from right), Andy Glenn, NBSS Resident Superintendent and Woodworking Instructor for the Eliot School (far right). NBSS also asked to credit Custodian Ronald Santos for cleaning the street and gutters (not in photo).
