Property Modifications Planned at 221-227 Commercial Street, Former Lavanderia/Gas Station

A notice to abutters was posted this week regarding work planned at 221-227 Commercial Street requiring approval by the Boston Conservation Commission (BCC). The name of the applicant is J3 Design & Development, LLC. The applicant has filed to remove, till, dredge or alter an area subject to protection under the Wetlands Protection Act.

The triangular property abuts the Prince Building at Atlantic Avenue and was a former site of a Lavanderia shop and a gas station before that. The property owner has recently changed hands and appears slated for a new development.
