Athena Lanes of the Boston Creates Arts Initiative spoke at North End / Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC) about the current citywide planning survey by the Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture.
Each neighborhood is being solicited regarding the kinds of arts, cultural and creative activities of interest to them. In addition, the city is looking to identify barriers and obstacles that prevent residents from taking part in cultural activities. The survey will be used to inform decisions about what types of cultural programs should be supported in the future.
The survey takes about 15 minutes and is anonymous. At the end you can view some of the results.
