Some much-welcomed visitors dropped by to meet with the seniors: Representative Aaron Michlewitz, City Councilor La Mattina, Councilor-at-Large Stephen Murphy, and last but certainly not least, former Massachusetts Attorney General Frank Bellotti. To the delight of the seniors, they visited with the group, and Mr. Bellotti told some stories about the old North End years ago and having been babysat as a young child in the neighborhood.

Seniors, staff, and volunteers alike had their fill of chocolates, including Councilor La Mattina’s favorite: Kit Kats! The seniors showed off the masks that they had made at the bi-monthly arts and crafts classes that take place on Wednesday mornings at the NE/WE NSC. Are you a senior interested in joining in on the fun? Please call 617-523-8125 for more information on free membership, programs, and events.

Happy Halloween!
