The triangle garden at the intersection of Commercial and Fleet Streets, is enjoying its fifth year of new plantings and maintenance. The previously neglected city-owned area is now beautifully landscaped with funds once again donated by Earl and Joanne Cate, the property owners at 240 Commercial Street.
Earl Cate is President of Kilem Management Corp. and also a longtime donor for neighborhood non‑profits, including the Saint John School. Helping the cause is Teddy Pasto who lives and works in the Commercial St. building and has taken on the task of planting and maintaining the garden, with the help of North Ender, Sal Bartolo.
These photos show the 2015 Summer garden in bloom.

This is an island of tranquility! They should receive a good neighbor award.
