The feature film, A Life Not To Follow, is about a hitman, a gangster and a private detective who share an interlacing narrative about common human frailty.
The movie was shot mostly in the North End by Boston filmmaker Christopher Di Nunzio. Di Nunzio also worked in the neighborhood for many years and has lots of family here. In addition to being a filmmaker, he is also the co-founder of the Massachusetts Independent Film Festival that runs each year in August.
Some cast members are from the North End as well, like Johnny “shoes” Cammarata.
The trailer for “A Life Not To Follow” is shown above with a full screening on July 12th, 7pm at The Regent in Arlington, MA. After the show, there will be a Q & A with the creators. Help support the indie film by buying a ticket to this event! All proceeds will go to helping A Life Not To Follow on it’s journey to find distribution.
