Salumeria Italiana Receives Good Neighbor Award

The Good Neighbor Recognition Award for this month was awarded to Salumeria Italiana at 151 Richmond Street in Boston’s North End. The award was presented by President Ford Cavallari and Recognition Committee Chair Janet Gilardi of the North End / Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA).

Guy Martignetti is the owner of Salumeria Italiana shown above receiving the Good Neighbor award with his staff. In the photo, left to right, Adele, Carmelo, Ford Cavallari, Gaetano Martignetti (owner), Mario, Janet Gilardi, Claudio, Evi and Goni.

Salumeria Italiana’s saying is, “Still doing it right since 1962.”

The Good Neighbor monthly award is voted by NEWRA’s Executive Committee and presented to local businesses, organizations and property owners that consistently keep the areas around their property clean of trash and debris.
