In what has become an annual tradition going back almost 20 years, the Tuesday after Patriots Day has seen the entire youth program moved outdoors to the grassy area between Puoplo and Langone Parks. A bocce tournament, pick-up baseball and basketball, playground area activities and all the hamburgers and hot dogs one can eat all day long makes for a perfect afternoon, providing the weather cooperates. And, thanks to a years long connection with Mother Nature, this event has always had great weather, this year being a perfect example with sun and sixties. And, for the second year in a row, in what will become an added feature going forward, the Charlestown Community Center’s Youth Program joined us for the event.
