On Monday, March 16th, the online campaign, Support NEMPAC Children’s Music Scholarship, was launched through Indiegogo with a fundraising goal of $2,500. NEMPAC aims to give every child an equal opportunity to experiment, create, and potentially influence our future with an inspiring musical experience. Every dollar given to the scholarship fund can truly make a difference and bring music into a family’s home and a child’s life.
NEMPAC awards over $5,000 each year in children’s need-based music scholarships. These scholarships provide an opportunity for over 20 children to participate in private lessons, after-school music classes, or experience week-long intensive music camps during the summer! NEMPAC needs your support to accomplish its goal this year and hope you will share this important mission with your family and friends!
On Saturday, April 11, we are hosting the NEMPAC Scholarship Benefit Event at St. Stephen’s Church on Hanover Street in the North End. This special event will feature students and faculty who are passionate about supporting the NEMPAC Children’s Scholarship Fund and are donating their time for this wonderful cause. Faculty performers include Sherri Snow, Rebecca Rapoport-Cole, Johanna Ball, Sarah Ryu, Cindy Giron, and Shawn Meehan.
