There are numerous cancellations and postponements due to the Blizzard of 2015:
Boston Public Schools are closed for Tuesday 1/27 and Wednesday 1/28.
All Boston Centers for Youth and Families (i.e., Nazzaro Center, 30 N. Bennet St.) will be open from 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. both Tuesday and Wednesday. All are welcome, and children age 7 and older can be dropped off upon completion of a short intake form.
There will be no mail service on Tuesday, 1/27. Post Offices will also be closed.
Parking – Snow emergency in effect. Cars will be towed on snow emergency streets after 8:00 pm on Monday.
MBTA – All T service will be shutdown Tuesday, as will Amtrak and Logan airport.
Libraries – All Boston Public Libraries are closed on Tuesday, 1/27.
Community Meetings are cancelled for Tuesday 1/27 and Wednesday 1/28.
- The City’s meeting on Home Sharing (AirBnb) has been rescheduled for Monday, February 2nd, 6:30-8:00 pm at the Boston Public Library (Copley Square).
- NEWRA’s ZLC meeting has been re-scheduled for Tuesday, February 3rd. The two issues on the agenda include the Battery Wharf Hotel license transfer and a discussion regarding neighborhood parks and open spaces.
- 2024 Olympics public meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 3rd, 6:30 pm at Suffolk Law School, Tremont Street.
