Owner Seth Nock, 16-18 Battery St. has filed to change the legal occupancy of the existing premises from nine residential units to ten residential units and construct a one story addition and a private roof deck. Attorney Daniel Toscano represented the owner at the December 8th meeting of the North End / Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC). The rental property is expected to be approximately 55 feet high, before the roof deck and mechanicals.
NEWNC voted 7-0 to support the occupancy change and 5-2 in support of the addition and private roof deck. The application will be heard the Residents’ Association (NEWRA) on December 11th and by the Boston Zoning Board of Appeals on December 16th for a final determination.
