Volle Nolle Closed for the Season

With the departure of chef Sebastian Martinez, Volle Nolle on Hanover Street has closed for the season. A note on the door says, “Sorry we missed you! Gone leaf peeping. Back soon.”

Martinez is soon to open Korean fusion restaurant, “Koy” at 161 North Street in the space formerly occupied by UBurger near Faneuil Hall.

The chef tells Boston Magazine, ‘I don’t know what her [Volle Nolle owner Torri Crowell] next step is, even though she really is the best at what she does. She’s truly hospitable.”
