Monday, November 3

2:00pm Social Media Basics at North End Library, 25 Parmenter Street
An Introduction to Facebook and Twitter, a free lecture on the basics of what social media tools are, how they work, and what they can do for you.

4:15pm Rally on the Prado to support Charlie Baker campaign (Paul Revere Mall next to the Fire House)

6:00pm Abutter’s Meeting at 181-183 N. Washington St. Parking Lot

Tuesday, November 4 Election Day

Visit the Election Department Website for information regarding locations where registrations can be found, download a Voter Registration Card, or search to verify your Voter Status. For additional questions regarding your voter status please contact the Election Department at 617. 635.3767 or visit City Hall.

7:00pm NEWRA Parks & Open Spaces Committee Meeting – ABCD Center, 1 Michelangelo St.
Recurring on the first Tuesday of the month. Contact parks@newra.org for more information. Please note change in location for this meeting due to Election Day at the Nazzaro Center. More information at parks.newra.org.

Wednesday, November 5

3:00pm Downtown Waterfront Planning Meeting at Atlantic Wharf, 290 Congress St. 2nd Fl.
The Downtown Waterfront Municipal Harbor Planning Advisory Committee will address Hook Lobster Site Analysis and review proposed substitutions.

6:00pm Marx Brothers Movie: Monkey Business at North End Library 25 Parmenter St, Boston
Marx Brothers Films: Monkey Business (1931) is the first Marx Brothers film written for the screen. On a transatlantic crossing, the Marx brothers get up to their usual antics and manage to annoy just about everyone on board the ship. The event is free, run time of 77 minutes.

Thursday, November 6

6:30pm Stump Trivia FREE at Fisherman’s Club, Lewis St.-hosted by NEWHealth
Fisherman’s Club, Lewis Street  join friends, neighbors, and colleagues for an evening of trivia, food & fun! There will be free pizza, prizes and cash bar for attendees. All attendees must be over the age of 21 and proper identification is required. Register Here.

6:30pm NE Public Safety Meeting – Nazzaro Center, 30 N. Bennet St.
As always, this meeting is open to the public and attended by Boston Police Area A-1 to talk about local crime issues in the neighborhood.

7:00pm Jazz Revival in the West End 1970—1975 The Old West Church
[150 Staniford Street, Suite 7, Boston] The West End Museum Donation $10 / $5-members A presentation with live music by Mark Harvey Mark Harvey will explore the jazz revival that happened in the West End in the early 1970s from activities at the Old West Church to those at Debbie’s Jazz Club. Pre-registration required.

Friday, November 7

4:00pm City Hall to Go at 308 Hanover Street
Stop by Hanover Street to pay a parking ticket, renew a parking permit, request a birth certificate, get a recycled bin sticker, submit a request for service, get up to date schedule changes at city hall to go.

6:15pm NEAA Minor League Baseball Awards Night at Nazzaro Center, 30 N. Bennet St. 6:15pm
The North End Athletic Association (NEAA) will hold a Minor League Baseball Awards Night, all players will receive a metal and pizza and cake will be of the available for the players.
