Brothers From North End Win $1 Million in DraftKings Fantasy Football Contest 

In their first season playing on DraftKings, brothers Dave and Rob Gomes from the North End won $1 million after watching the clock expire on Monday Night Football. The rushing attack of the Patriots against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday propelled the brothers to the win. Sons of North End restauranteur Carla Gomes, the guys watched the game with friends and family at Antico Forno on Salem Street. See the video of their reaction at, BostInno.

NU Prof’s Rendering Shows ‘Visual Consequences’ of Proposed Harbor Square

North End Comes to Harvard Square with Mike’s Opening

Mike’s Pastry, the Italian Bakery in the North End of Boston known for its cannoli’s and baked goods, has opened its second location in Harvard Square. After several setbacks in the process of opening at 11 Dunster Street in Cambridge, supervisor Danielle Papa said the store had a “perfect” opening weekend. Read the story at, The Harvard Crimson.

Winter on the Waterfront – Holiday Kickoff

Starting on November 22nd, the holiday season will be in full swing throughout the Waterfront area of Boston.
