Zoning and Licensing Applications

1. 59-61 Endicott Street. Paul Ferazzi has appealed to the Board of Appeal to change the legal occupancy of the building from a store (restaurant) and six residential units to eight residential units.  The property is in the Hanover Street Community Commercial zoning subdistrict, where a dwelling unit on the first floor is a conditional use. Other zoning violations are insufficient usable open space and insufficient off-street loading. The property is the location of the former Pat’s Pushcart Restaurant. No work is to be performed. The work was previously completed under a building permit issued by ISD. Anyone seeking further information should contact the attorney, Daniel J. Toscano, at 617-646-4428 or
dtoscanolaw@gmail.com.

2. 204 Hanover Street. 204 Hanover Street LLC has appealed to the Board of Appeal to change the legal occupancy of the building from 1 apartment, 1 office and 1 retail store to 1 apartment, 1 office and 1 restaurant on the ground floor and basement. The restaurant will be owned and operated by Siobhan Carew, long-time operator of Pomodoro Restaurant at 319 Hanover Street, who will no longer be located at that address. The property is in the Hanover Street Community Commercial zoning subdistrict, where restaurant is a conditional use in the basement and first story. Anyone seeking further information should contact the attorney, Andrew Walsh, at 617-946-4600 or
awalsh@mqmllp.com. Attorney Walsh is acting for Attorney Ferullo, who will be away on the date of
the Zoning, Licensing & Construction Committee October meeting.
