New PBS TV Episode of “Craft in America” premieres at North Bennet Street School, the school will host an exclusive first screening of “Craft in America: Service.” The new episode tells the story of craft in the military by documenting the power of the handmade to inspire, motivate, and heal. 6:00pm Greenway Ramp Parcel Study Meeting at City Hall, 9th Fl
MassDOT continues to consider options for covering the open ramp portions of Central Artery/Tunnel Parcels 6, 12 and 18 along the Rose Kennedy Greenway, resulting from environmental commitments made as part of the Central Artery/Tunnel project. MassDOT and BRA officials are continuing to study options to define potential cover alternatives and are planning a follow up from the recently held second public meeting that took place on September 30th.

The Sacco-Vanzetti Case will be revisited by Christopher Daley, who recounts the saga of Italian immigrant anarchists Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti, including the robberies in Bridgewater and Braintree, the famous trial at Dedham, and seven years of attempts to receive a new trial. 6:30pm Old North Speaker Series: Jane Lyden Rousseau
[Old North Church, 193 Salem St, Boston] Underneath Old North Church is a historic burial crypt and the remains of many of the city’s early settlers. Archaeologist Jane Lyden Rousseau will present findings from her research of the tombs, stories of life and death in historic Boston, and other tales from the crypt. After the talk, visitors are invited to take a guided tour of the tombs to explore this fascinating part of Boston history. Free of charge and open to the public!
