Italian Heritage Month Kicks Off on October 1st

The annual Italian Heritage Month kickoff will be held on Wednesday, October 1 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the House Chamber, 3rd Floor at the State House in Boston. Coro Dante will be performing the American and Italian anthems and other musical selections. Attend with friends and family and show your support of October Italian Heritage Month! A proclamation by Governor Deval Patrick will be read. Honored Guest: Consul General of Italy, Nicola De Santis. Free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. Earlier in the day on October 1st at City Hall, Councilors Michael Flaherty and Sal LaMattina will hold a Community Celebration and Flag Raising. More information in the flyer below.
