Postmates, an On-Demand Delivery Service, Makes Boston Debut
Postmates, an on demand delivery service based out of San Francisco, will be launching their app for service deliveries in select neighborhoods such as Downtown, Back Bay, North End, South End, South Boston, and parts of Cambridge. The app allows people to designate a delivery, whether its takeout, beer, prescription pickups, groceries, or dry cleaning. Boston Magazine has more.
Benedict Cumberbatch Tries Cannoli In North End
The North End is a major travel destination in the City of Boston, including celebrities. Benedict Cumberbatch, who is co-starring with Johnny Depp in the new “Black Mass” movie, stopped in the neighborhood for his first ever Cannoli. Read more at Boston.com.
Boston-area to do list
As with most “to do” lists involving Boston, the North End usually has a spot on the list with at least one thing. It could be a restaurant stop, the harborwalk, or strolling on the Freedom Trail. Medford students win Italian awards
Several students from Medford Public Schools, along with their families and teachers, were honored by Centro Attività Scholastiche Italiane (C.A.S.IT.) from local schools at a celebration at Christopher Columbus Park in the North End of Boston. Read the story at, Wicked Local.
