Thanks to a generous Summer Fund Grant from Mayor Marty Walsh, through Boston Centers for Youth and Families, NEAD has received $3000.00 to continue it great summer activities for the youth of the North End. “NEAD thanks Mayor Walsh for his commitment to the youth of the City” stated NEAD President John Romano.
NEAD will provide Arts and Crafts every Thursday from 1pm to 4pm at Mirabella Pool starting Thursday July 10th. Rain location is Nazzaro Center. This is for Boys and Girls Ages 6 to 16, however if a child under 6 wants to participate their parent must do the craft with them.
NEAD will also offer two Fantastic Sports Nights at Polcari Playground – Nazzaro Center. These will be for Boys and Girls ages 6 to 16 only. Several games and activities will be played. These will be held on Friday July 11th and Friday July 18th from 6 pm to 9pm.
