Christmas in July Brings Holiday Spirit to the Gassy

Who says you have to wait for December to get in the holiday spirit? On a warm, sunny night in July, Christmas was in full force at the Gassy! Christmas carols rang through the crowd that continued to pour in from all directions. Folks gathered to eat pizza, enjoy a cookie, and grab their seat for the featured movie Frozen. Good seats were hard to come by with the crowd exceeding over 100 people. Event organizer Steven Virgilio even had to run to Regina’s and order additional pizzas to meet the demand. After the food line cleared, the sun set for a perfect evening to watch a movie on the freshly painted DeFilippo playground park wall. These movie nights will be continuing throughout the summer, sponsored by ROC Teen Saturday, Pizzeria Regina’s, Boston Foundation, and organized by Steven Virgilio.
