The sound of Christmas carols drifted through the North End streets on Wednesday night for this year’s Christmas in July at the Gassy (DeFilippo Playground), sponsored by ROC – Teen Saturday and Regina Pizzeria. The feature movie was A Christmas Story, of course. The park was decorated with Christmas trees, snowmen and festive lights. The kids enjoyed pizza, Italian ices and a visit from Santa! Steven “Virgil” Virgilio puts on the popular event as part of the weekly movie series on Wednesday nights at the Gassy.
