World Cup fever engulfed Boston’s North End neighborhood on Saturday as Italy won its first game against England, 2-1. Lines were building outside the caffes and restaurants hours in advance of game time. Blue is the color of the streets! Forza Italia!

In its second game, the USA’s soccer team played to a draw, 2-2, on Sunday afternoon against Portugal. The North End cafe’s were packed as the series continues to draw record crowds.
