Both neighborhood groups, NEWNC and NEWRA, heard this week from the new owners at Tia’s on the Waterfront (at Long Wharf) and their plans to add a disc jockey to their entertainment license. The location is on the fringe of the North End so the presentation was informational only without any votes. Both the Wharf District Council and the Friends of Christopher Columbus Park previously voted to support the change. The City Hall hearing has already taken place although the final ruling has not been made public. The DJ would be for indoor use only, mostly for functions.
