As part of this year’s Flash Forward Festival in partnership with the Rose F. Kennedy Greenway Conservancy, “The Fence” opened Friday on the Greenway’s Parcel 12 along with a new twist, shipping containers. The containers house three public photography exhibitions featuring the work of Patrick Willocq, Calé, and a variety of renowned photographers from Air Canada’s En Route Magazine. The shipping containers will be open during the month of May, staffed 1-4 pm on weekends and some weekdays. The Conservancy and MassDot are also extending “The Fence” artwork on the Cross Street side this year that will be up through October.
The Flash Forward Festival 2014 is happening all weekend through May 4th at the Fairmont Battery Wharf on the North End waterfront. Check out the full schedule of programming, exhibitions and events at FlashForwardFestival.com.
