North End Against Drugs held its Annual Easter Party at the Nazzaro Community Center on Saturday April 19th. Over 100 people attended with their children.
It was a hopping good time as the kids colored Easter eggs, took photos with the Easter Bunny and enjoyed a fabulous puppet show. Also, the children were given a free raffle ticket for a chance at over a dozen holiday prizes.
The event was sponsored In Memory of Florence Giannasoli by her son Mikey Fud as he is known is the neighborhood. The Puppet Show was again sponsored by City Councilor Sal LaMattina.
North End Against Drugs would like to thank the Nazzaro Center, Lillian Ferullo, MaryAnne Tordiglione, Richie Crabie – Total Entertainment, Patricia Romano and Nicholas Verrocchi for making this such a great event for the children and families of the North End!
For those of you old enough to remember, you will know what this means: There was 13,909 in attendance at the Nazzaro Center last Monday night.
