Friends of St. Francis House Hold Successful Flea Market and Bake Sale

The Nazzaro Center was transformed into a huge flea market and bake sale on Friday and Saturday by the North End Friends of St. Francis House. All proceeds are matched by an anonymous donor and benefit the Boylston Street homeless shelter.

As usual, there were tons of treasures at the Nazzaro Center flea market alongside homemade baked goods from throughout the North End. Mama Romano’s eggplant, meatball and sausage sandwiches were a hit, as usual.

Through these events, the group has raised nearly $100,000 for the shelter. Ringleaders, John Romano and Olivia Scimeca, and their fellow volunteers thank everyone for stopping by this year’s fundraiser.
