Just in case you are not waking up before sunrise, you can thank Eric Ambrette for capturing the beauty of the waterfront, shown here from Christopher Columbus Park looking toward Long Wharf. Living in the North End, Eric seeks out special scenes as he develops his photography. “The colors in the sky were near their peak and were reflecting off the water/ice beautifully. I say ice because the still waters of the inner harbor were freezing over at this time due to the 13 degree temps and the end of slack tide about 30 minutes prior,” says Eric who further describes what he is doing on his blog.

“Neighborhood Photo” is a regular feature on NorthEndWaterfront.com. Did you take an interesting photo in or around Boston’s North End / Waterfront? Have it featured by emailing it to info@northendwaterfront.com. Please include a title, date taken and a sentence or two describing the photo.
The beauty we miss when sleeping! Beautiful picture Eric.
