Nazzaro Center R.O.C.’s on Halloween [Photos]

An estimated 400 children and family members attended the ROC-Nazzaro Center’s 7th annual Halloween party on October 31st and a better Halloween party would be hard to imagine. Thanks to the resources and efforts of ROC (Recovery, Outreach and Community) founder Steven Virgilio, the Nazzaro Center playground was transformed into a combination Disney World, Music Video and Haunted House. A bouncy moonwalk and a 20 foot high bouncy slide were the main attraction, surrounded by various assortments of macabre and eerie Halloween figures, all set to an audio background of seasonal Halloween music. Naturally the traditional candy apples, pumpkins and Halloween candy was also provided, but the culinary highlight was Regina Pizza, generously supplied by the legendary pizzeria (as they have each year of this event). The party went on until dark because by then, everyone had to get home before the witches and goblins came out.

Thank also to North End Against Drugs, St. Anthony Society and State Rep Aaron Michlewitz who all made very generous donations.
