Please welcome Conor Finley as a contributing reporter on NorthEndWaterfront.com! This formal introduction is overdue since Conor has been posting regularly for the past couple of months. Still, I wanted to make it “official” since he has been so prolific that many of you have already told me how much you are enjoying his articles.
Although it’s a part-time position, you will to see Conor posting several times a week. In addition to his calendar summaries and news roundups, he will be covering more meetings and events. I am particularly looking forward to a series of upcoming historical posts and North End lore, long on our “to do” list.
Conor is a student in his senior year at Suffolk University, studying Public Relations and Political Science. Originally hailing from Connecticut, he has been in Boston for three years and recently moved to the North End. Although a new resident, many will recognize his face from stints interning with State Rep. Aaron Michlewitz and his activities as President of SU College Democrats. He also works as a Fiscal Intern for the Mass. Department of Transportation. In his younger days, I hear he once was a decent one-legged quarterback.
Of course, dozens of local people, groups and organizations post from time to time on NorthEndWaterfront.com and we very much appreciate when folks share news and events. Anyone is welcome to submit news, events or commentaries to firstname.lastname@example.org.
I am excited to have Conor working on the site and I am hope you will enjoy his contributions. You can catch up with Conor’s latest posts here.
Thank you, as always, for reading NorthEndWaterfront.com.
