Some of us might feel like garbage on Monday, but Tuesday is the day of garbage with a big meeting at City Hall to talk about Residential Trash Contracts. Kimberly Reynolds Curator of Manuscripts will give a short talk about the Sacco and Vanzetti collection at the Boston Public Library. Ms. Reynolds will also show attendees how to access many of the documents in the collection that have been digitized from the collection through the Internet.

12:30pm City Hall to Go Truck at 480 Commercial St./Mirabella Pool
The “City Hall to Go” truck will be making the rounds in the North End on the fourth Thursday of the month, starting on July 25, 2013. At 12:30 pm, the truck will be across from 480 Commercial Street next to the front of the Mirabella Pool entrance.

6:30pm Halloween Exhibit Tour of The Parkman – Webster Murder Case at West End Museum 150 Staniford St
The tour will be led by exhibit curator Duane Lucia as he tells the gruesome tale of the disappearance of Dr. George Parkman on the afternoon of November 23, 1849. A city-wide search led authorities back to the last place the doctor had been seen, the Medical College on North Grove Street in the West End. There they found dismembered body parts, a grave robbing janitor and the mild mannered Harvard professor, Dr. John White Webster.
