North End Segway Tour Operator Files for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection; Faces Year-End Deadline to Move
Boston by Segway has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection to deal with increasing fines from the City of Boston. The company has repeatedly run afoul of a 2011 ordinance regulating Segway tours. Total fines owed have reached nearly $200,000. The bankruptcy filing shows over $300,000 in total debt on the business. Read More

Stephen’s Run 5k Road Race in North End a Great Success [Photos]

We did some site upgrades over the weekend so we didn’t send out a Sunday newsletter. You should have received one on Monday morning.
In addition to the email newsletter, posts can also be viewed directly on the website at NorthEndWaterfront.com. We also distribute through our Facebook page and Twitter list.
I’m thrilled that the NEWF newsletter has become a part of our readers’ routine. I feel obliged, however, to remind folks that the website and newsletter are part-time community effort so we will occasionally miss a day or two. We try to give advance warning if we are not going to publish for a vacation, etc.
