Artist Matthew Richie painted the finishing touches on Friday afternoon to complete the new 70 foot mural titled Remanence: Salt and Light (Part II) at Dewey Square on the Rose F. Kennedy Greenway. Chamber Organizes Successful “Operation Clean-Up” in North End [Photos]
Operation Clean-up brought out nearly 100 folks from the North End community on Saturday morning to make the neighborhood shine. 10th Annual “Taste of the North End” Bocce Tournament to Benefit Neighborhood Charities
Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the annual “Taste of the North End” Bocce Tournament featured high level bocce play and an Italian-style barbeque on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Langone Park. The annual bocce event is organized by Donato Frattaroli of Lucia Ristorante and Chris Zizza of C&R Flooring. This year, due to the rain-soaked outdoor courts, the bocce tourney was moved inside the Steriti Rink. Despite the weather, bocce players indulged in a true Italian tradition while raising money for a good cause. Read More
