  1. If something isn’t done soon someone is going to be killed down here. It’s only a matter of time crime is [or should be the priority] here not bike lanes.

  2. Michaeld is right~~instead of catering to the Real Problems of our Neighborhood~~~they add more invitations to problems~~bikes colliding with Elderly ???? Seigway Bikes~~driving down Richmond Street~~causing back-ups of traffic ! The real problems get SWEPT UNDER THE RUG !!!!
When we enlighten those in charge~~~they pay NO ATTENTION !!

All the great reasons that made the North End unique and desirable are “QUICKLY DIMINISHING” !!!!

    Crime is UP~~ADMIT IT !!!!

  3. JANET, You and MICHAELD are so right. The crime is up and the police aren’t doing anything
about it. They are going to wait for a murder. The city put a STOP SIGN UP after Eddie Marino
got hit by a car and died, if you recall. What a shame. The fines can’t be that effective, and it is
always the same buildings for NOISE, TRASH & VANDALISM.

      1. BOSGUY. YOU DONT HAVE TO BE A VICTIM/SURVIVOR OF A VIOLENT CRIME TO KNOW THE ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION.NOISE,TRASH AND VANDALISIM ARE PROBLEMS BUT ARE MINOR COMPARED TO SOMEONE BEING TERRORIZED IN AN ARMED ROBBERY OR VIOLATED BY A BREAK IN. I MAINTAIN MY POSITION THAT OTHER THAN $$ COST’S THERE IS NO REASON WHY SURVELLANCE CAMERAS ARE NOT INSTALLED IN THE NE & I SUGGEST YOU READ THE POLICE BLOTTER & SEE THE CRIMES COMMITTED IN JUST A 5 DAY SPAN.

  4. Who the hell is comparing robberies, with noise, vandalism & trash.

The police have neglected the area and that is a fact or you would not hear Janet or Michaeld

    saying the above.
