It Pays to Report Things, Just Be Patient

About 3 years ago, I reported the sidewalk area as falling apart around the tree beds in front of Sargent’s Wharf after seeing someone take a bad fall. This week, I noticed Public Works showed up to fix the sidewalks and received a “case resolved” email referencing the initial request. So, they do keep these things active, you just have to be very patient!

    1. They did shovel there…but they did it in 2011…You’ll get an email stating that in May, 2014.

  1. There are many areas in the North End that look just a bad as these. Unfortunately, they have looked the same for years and years~~~the areas around most trees have not been set in properly from the Very Beginning of plantings !!
Not only are they a hazard, I have seen many people (including myself) fall, but also broken glass, pieces of trash, dog poop and bags of dog poop are left there !! This really takes away from the Beauty of the Trees ! Unhealthy for us AND THE TREES !!! Thank You for listening !
