Celebrities Descend on Boston’s North End: Donnie Wahlberg, Piero Barone & Alex Rodriguez

It was a big weekend for celebrity sightings in the North End. We found Donnie Wahlberg, Peiro Barone and Alex Rodriguez in these neighborhood photos.

First up, Donnie Wahlberg (Blue Bloods and Boston Finest) takes this selfie with Lisa Capogreco (Boston Concepts) and Sal Giarrantani (Post Gazette).

Next, Piero Barone of Il Volo is shown below at Boston Barber Co. on Salem Street for a fresh cut by Robert Dello Russo. Il Volo performed on Saturday night at the Bank of America Pavilion.

Piero also enjoyed dinner at Carmelina’s North End on Hanover Street. He is shown below with his father, Gaetano, Carmelina’s Damien DiPaola and Robert Dello Russo. Piero mentioned on stage that he loved the Frutti di Mare.

Also in the neighborhood was Alex Rodriguez, A-Rod, of the New York Yankees. He is shown below with Maria Lanza at Lucia Ristorante on Hanover Street.
