  1. Anna and family so sorry for your loss. Your brother was a pure untouched soul who had the biggest heart. Thinking and praying for all of you.

  2. My Condolences to the family. He was a fixture of the North End. Everyone knew him. Will miss him at all the feast.

  3. When I was with the Boston Schools I used to visit Charlestown High. Gerry was always there to greet me at the door and direct me to here I was going. A few years ago I ran into Gerry at the NE Rehab and nursing facility on Fulton Street which is diagonally across from my home.

Gerry recognized me and always had some remembrance of Charlestown for me. He in particular always asked about an administrator there, Mr. Berkowitz who was a mentor and friend of his while he was there. When I told Mr. Berkowitz he was very sad and wanted me to extend his condolences to the family on their loss. He said that all the staff and students at Charlestown considered Gerry a friend and a “big buddy” of theirs.
