Saturday 6/1/13 News & Views: New Billy Tse Patio, NEMPAC’s Kids Yard Sale and Sailing Open House

Neighborhood View of the Day:

The new outdoor patio is open at Billy Tse’s on Commercial Street after recently receiving approval from city officials.

North End / Waterfront Events on the Calendar:

  • NEMPAC has its Kids Yard Sale on the Prado, Saturday 10am-4pm. See the post.
  • Coming up this weekend is the Festa della Repubblica Italiana, with the annual bocce tournament on Saturday and the Piazza Italia at Christopher Columbus Park on Sunday. See the flyer.
  • Starting at 1:00 pm on Saturday, it’s an open house at the Boston Sailing Center, 54 Lewis Wharf.

  1. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY THAT LARGE PLANTER OUTSIDE OF BILLY’S WAS NOT
    REMOVED, NOT ONLY FOR HANDI-CAP & BABY CARRIAGES, BUT THEY WAY I HEARD
    IT, IT HARBORS “R A T S”

  2. The large planter probably wasn’t removed because of GREED or some other caustic ALL CAPS cry that the sky is falling.
