The signs have gone up covering the windows at 90 N. Washington Street in preparation for a Summer 2013 opening of Ward 8 Restaurant & Bar. The Bulfinch Triangle location was recently vacated by NEBO which is relocating to Atlantic Wharf.
Ward 8 Restaurant & Bar is the creation of Nicholas Frattaroli from the famous family of North End restauranteurs including Donato (Lucia Ristorante), Filippo (Filipoo’s Ristorante) and Philip (Ducali Pizzeria & Bar).
Maybe they will serve Ward 8 cocktails that came out of the West End in the 1890’s when Martin B. Lomasney, “the Mahatma” was the West End’s political ward boss.
