Police Blotter: On-Street Robbery & Assault For Head Phones on Wiget Street

Unarmed Robbery
03/30/13 3:40am
Male victim stepped outside of a Wiget St. apartment and was approached by 2 male suspects who alighted from a tan motor vehicle. At this time, the suspects demanded the head phones he was wearing. The victim refused and was attacked by the suspects and he received head and face injuries that were treated at Mass. General Hospital. Detectives are following up.

Breaking & Entering – Residential
04/03/13 9:00am – 10:15pm
Salem St. resident reports his apartment front door was forced open and removed were 2 laptops, 2 TV’s, electronic equipment, jewelry and other misc. items.

  1. I feel bad that the kid got mugged, but he shouldn’t be stumbling around drunk at 3:40am with gigantic ridiculous headphones on. Muggerbait.

    1. 3:40am is definitely not the time to wear out the nice AKGs; that’s the time to bust out the Bose earbuds. If muggers steal them, the joke’s on them.
