Atlantic Avenue had its share of animal sightings today. First, the famous Downtown turkey was seen around Lewis Wharf, captured by roving photographer and local business owner, Bruce McCue. Later in the day, Bruce also saw something more seasonally appropriate, the Easter Bunny.

Missing North End Dog “Chico”
Update, August 27, 2013 – Chico didn’t make it. He got up onto a highway and when cornered by would-be rescuers, fear got the best of him and he jumped up over a wall which turned out to be a sixty foot drop. The State Police returned his remains so he could be cremated. Our Read More…

The downtown turkey was spotted on Sheafe Street on Easter. Several car owners are not going to be happy to see the presents he left ON their car.
