NEWF Tuesday: Michlewitz Supports “Roadrunner” as State Song, More Snow Photos, RUFF Meeting, Library Craft and Chess

What’s Happening In The North End / Waterfront:

The North End Library features a kids craft for Chinese New Year at 4:00 pm. Also, happening is the successful kids chess program at the library starting at 4pm (beginners) and 4:45pm (intermediate).

At 7:00 pm, dog owners are welcome to attend the monthly RUFF meeting at the Nazzaro Center.

The North End’s State Rep. Aaron Michlewitz speaks out in support of making “Roadrunner” the official song of Massachusetts. On Facebook, he writes:

I am a full supporter of making Roadrunner the official Rock song of the Commonwealth. To give you a little history, my aunt Ellie was a member of The Modern Lovers from 1977-1983 and Jonathan actually sang at my first birthday, so I am certainly happy to see him getting this type of recognition after all these years. I will keep you informed of the bills progress.
