Who knew that wallpaper calendars could be so popular? The January 2013 fireworks calendar was one of the most popular posts last month.
For February 2013, the days are still short so I chose a popular night image for the wallpaper calendar. The photo is the North End / Waterfront at night, taken by yours truly from the top of the Custom House tower observation deck.
How to make this your desktop or mobile wallpaper background:
- Select the image size that best fits the resolution and proportions of your screen or mobile device. This may require a bit of trial and error.
- Select View Full Size (this is important),
- Right-click on the image and choose “Set as Desktop Background” or “Use as Desktop Picture” or something similar depending on your specific system.
- For mobile devices like the iPhone or iPad, you usually can tap and hold to “Save” the photo. Then, in the Photos App or Settings, select the “Wallpaper” option (on iOS, this is under the “Send To” icon). You can often adjust the position of the image on the screen before saving it as your wallpaper.
Enjoy the wallpaper calendar and I hope you will come back next month!
Thanks 🙂
