It was a quiet week as far as crime reports in the North End / Waterfront, shown here courtesy of Boston Police District A-1.

What a coincidence! Suffolk University is away on spring break and the North End has a quiet week. I am baffled as to why they are not held more accountable for their students. Why are they not required to build dormitories so there can be some supervision of these out-of-control young people? The problem will only get worse as Suffolk moves closer to the North End. At one time it was mainly a commuter school and dormitories were not needed. Things have changed and these students are no longer living at home where their parents can keep an eye on them. Please don’t tell me it is not Suffolk students. I actually know that on my street the problem is students who go to Suffolk.
