Obituary: Elisa A. “Lisa” (Conte) Limone of Medford, Formerly of the North End

LIMONE, Elisa A. “Lisa” (Conte), 63 of Medford, formerly of the North End, died Wednesday after a long illness in the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers, MA.

Born in Boston, she lived in Medford for the past 28 years and formerly of the North End of Boston. She was the daughter of the late Anna (Costa) and Alessandro Conte.

Lisa was a Reservationist with Delta Airlines for 10 years. She was a long time member and past vice president of the Madonna Della Cava of the North End of Boston.

Beloved wife of the late Peter J. Limone. Devoted mother of Erika Rhuda and her husband Richard of Melrose. Loving grandmother of Ava and Luke. Longtime partner Leonard Raffa of Boston. Daughter in law of Frank Piazza. Sister in law of Andrea Fabiano, and Karen Teta. Also survived by many loving and devoted family and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral mass celebrated in St. Leonard Church, Hanover St., Boston, Friday at 9:45 AM. Visiting hours have been omitted. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent in Elisa’s name to the Compassionate Care ALS, P.O. Box 1052, West Falmouth, MA 02574 or Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923.

    I was blessed to have known Lisa, God has taken her home
    and we should all rejoice in knowing Lisa has reached her final destination in heaven. We will all meet again.

  6. I did not know Lisa as well as most of you who commented here, but the few times in her company I will always remember.
    She lived her life with dignity, courage and grace and left this earth the exact same way.
    She is smiling and watching over all who loved her .

  7. As I reflect on Lisa’s memory I find it extremely difficult to speak of Lisa in the past tense for she was a woman full of life, vitality and strength. Most commendable was how she dealt with her life’s most difficult tribulations with such hope, courage and bravery. Though her mission in life was short lived, her accomplishments were many. God bless you Lis and your devoted family and friends.
