What’s Going On in the North End / Waterfront

At 10:00 am, Boston City Council has a “working session” to figure out the logistics of the Nuisance Control Ordinance regarding excessive noise and loud parties. The session is at City Hall, 5th Floor, Curley Room. It is open to the public but there will not be any public testimony. See the notice.

The North End / Waterfront Neighborhood Council, NEWNC, meets at 7:00 pm at the Nazzaro Center, 30 N. Bennet Street. All are welcome. See the agenda.

Neighborhood Photo of the Day

This “red” hot promotion got a little squishy and mixed reactions to the marked tomatoes showing up in parks around Boston on Wednesday. (See Universal Hub’s “Is there no public space so sacred we won’t whore it out?”). Here are photos of both sides as displayed on Wednesday morning at Christopher Columbus Park. They also showed up on the Prado – Paul Revere Mall (see photo), Boston Common and Copley Square.
