Boston Ranks #2 in 2012 Trick or Treat Index; North End Ranks #5 Among Boston Neighborhoods

Boston is the #2 city for trick-or-treating and within the city, the North End ranks #5 as a top neighborhood. Basically, the kids in the downtown neighborhoods make a killing!

That is the result from the 2012 Zillow Trick-or-Treat Index. This is the second year in a row that Boston has placed after San Francisco. The housing-related index is designed to represent cities and neighborhoods with the likelihood of best candy and the least walking and safety risks using published statistical data.

Within Boston, the North End neighborhood ranked #5 among the best areas for trick-or-treating, down from #3 last year. Beacon Hill took the top spot followed by West Roxbury, Charlestown and Back Bay.

  1. Thank you SO MUCH to Melanie Crocini and Becca Griffin, as well as John, Carl and the Nazzaro for making Halloween happen in our neighborhood! The great business participation in the night should be commended, as well! I’m very grateful.
