It was the “Battle of the Saints” last Saturday at the Langone Park bocce courts where all of the Feast Societies competed in a tournament. At the end, it was the Saint Agrippina Society claiming the championship trophy. The $1,000 prize was donated to North End Against Drugs and the St. Agrippina Children’s Toy Program and Christmas Party. Also participating were members from the Saint Anthony Society, Saint Lucy Society, Society of Madonna Del Soccorso (Fisherman’s Feast), Madonna Della Cava, Saint Joseph Society, Saint Rosalia Society and the Society of Maria di Santa Anzano.
